What services do you offer?

TrueFix offers a wide range of handyman, repair, maintenance and property improvement services. From painting, plastering and flooring to doors, bathroom repairs, TV mounting, furniture assembly and general maintenance, we can help with jobs both big and small. If you’re unsure whether we cover what you need, simply get in touch and ask.
How do I request a quote?

Simply complete our Request a Quote form with a few details about the work you need doing. You can include photos where helpful, which allows us to get a better idea of the job. Once we’ve received your request, we’ll be in touch to discuss the next steps and arrange a visit if required.

You can contact us by phone, email or through our Request a Quote form. For new jobs, we recommend using the form where possible, as you can provide details and photos to help us understand exactly what you need.
Do you take on small jobs?
Absolutely! No job is too small. Whether it’s hanging a shelf, fixing a cupboard door, resealing a bath, changing a light fitting or tackling those little jobs you’ve been meaning to get around to, we’re happy to help. Just send us the details through our Request a Quote form and we’ll let you know how we can help.
How soon can you visit?
We’ll always do our best to arrange an initial visit as soon as possible. Most quote visits are carried out in the evenings after the working day, making it easier to arrange a time that suits you. Availability will depend on our current workload, and emergency call-outs may also be available for urgent issues.

Can you work in rental properties?
Absolutely. We can carry out a wide range of repairs, maintenance and improvement work in rental properties, working with landlords, letting agents and property managers as well as tenants where appropriate. Whether it’s a one-off repair, general maintenance, decorating or getting a property ready for a new tenant, we’re happy to help.

What types of work do you not undertake?
For safety and compliance reasons, we don’t undertake gas work or new electrical installations, as these require appropriately qualified tradespeople. We can, however, carry out many straightforward electrical replacements and repairs, such as replacing existing light fittings, sockets and switches where appropriate. If you’re unsure whether your job is something we can help with, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise. Where specialist gas or electrical work is required, we have trusted contacts within the relevant trades who may be able to assist, helping to make the process as straightforward as possible.
